This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have. It applies to techverseshop.com and to any order you place with us.
1. Who is responsible for your data

We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Card data goes directly to our payment processor and never touches our servers.

Where we rely on legitimate interest, we have assessed that our interest does not override your rights. You can object at any time — see section 7.
4. Who we share it with
We share data only with parties who need it to run the shop:
- Shopify — our e-commerce platform, hosts the store and processes orders
- Payment providers — to take payment and prevent fraud
- Shipping carriers and suppliers — name, address and phone, solely to deliver your order
- Email service provider — to send transactional and, with consent, marketing emails
- Analytics providers — where you have consented to analytics cookies
- Accountants and tax authorities — as required by law
We never sell your personal data.
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where that is the case, transfers are covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request a copy of the safeguards in place at techverseadm@gmail.com.
A note specific to how we ship: some products are dispatched directly by our suppliers, including suppliers outside the EEA. To fulfil your order we pass them the delivery name, address and phone number — nothing else. Your payment details, order history and email are never shared with suppliers.
5. How long we keep it

After these periods data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
6. How we protect it
We use HTTPS encryption across the site, restrict access to personal data to those who need it, and rely on Shopify's infrastructure security. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your rights we will notify you and the supervisory authority as required by law.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — get a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- Erasure — have your data deleted, where no legal obligation requires us to keep it
- Restriction — limit how we use your data while a dispute is resolved
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to another provider
- Object — object to processing based on legitimate interest, including profiling
- Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
To exercise any of these, email techverseadm@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days and the request is free. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
8. Marketing
We only send marketing emails if you have opted in. Every email contains an unsubscribe link that works immediately. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional emails about orders you have placed — those are part of the contract.
9. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact techverseadm@gmail.com and we will delete it.
10. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects. Our payment providers may run automated fraud checks; if a payment is declined on that basis, you can contact us to have it reviewed by a person.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "last updated" date, and — if the change significantly affects you — by email.
