This policy explains what cookies we use on TechVerse, what they do, and how you control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences — what's in your cart, whether you're logged in, which language you chose — so you don't have to set them again on every page.
We also use similar technologies such as pixels, local storage and tags. For simplicity we call them all "cookies" here.
2. Your choices
When you first visit the site you see a cookie banner. You can:
- Accept all — we set every category below
- Reject all — we set only strictly necessary cookies
- Customise — choose category by category
You can change your decision at any time through the cookie settings link in the footer. Rejecting cookies never blocks you from buying: the shop works with necessary cookies alone.
3. Categories we use
Strictly necessary — always on
These make the shop function. They cannot be switched off, and they do not require consent.

Functional — consent required
Remember preferences that improve your experience but aren't essential: language and currency selection, recently viewed products, whether you dismissed a banner. Typical duration: up to 12 months.
Analytics — consent required
Help us understand how the site is used in aggregate: which pages get traffic, where people drop off, how fast pages load. This is what tells us whether the shop is working. Typical duration: up to 14 months.
Marketing — consent required
Used to measure advertising and show you relevant ads on other platforms. These are set by third parties such as advertising and social networks, and they can track you across sites. Typical duration: up to 13 months.
We do not set analytics or marketing cookies unless you consent.
4. Third parties
Some cookies are set by services we rely on rather than by us directly:

We do not control cookies set by third parties. Their own policies apply, and we recommend reading them if you want detail.
5. Managing cookies in your browser
Beyond our banner, your browser lets you block or delete cookies:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Safari — Settings → Privacy
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking all cookies at browser level will break the cart and checkout on most online shops, including this one.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no agreed standard for how sites should respond, so we do not currently act on it. Use the cookie banner instead — that choice we do honour.
7. Changes
We update this policy when we add or remove cookies. The current list is always the one shown in your cookie settings panel.
